Life is a private personal application operated by Hanno Erwee (erweehanno@gmail.com). By signing in and using it, you agree to what follows. If you do not, please do not use it.
Access is by invitation only. Accounts are created by the operator; there is no public sign-up. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for everything done under your account. Do not share your account with anyone else.
Life is a personal record-keeping tool for tracking time, plans, finances, meals, reading and personal notes. It optionally connects to your Google account to display your calendar events and tasks alongside your own records, as described in the Privacy Policy.
It is a record of what you tell it. It is not medical, nutritional, financial or professional advice, and nothing it calculates or displays should be treated as such. Decisions you make on the basis of what it shows you are your own.
Everything you enter remains yours. The operator claims no ownership of it and does not use it for any purpose other than running the application for you.
You agree not to use the application to store unlawful material, and not to attempt to access another account, disrupt the service, or work around its access controls.
When you connect a Google account, your use of Google Calendar and Google Tasks remains governed by Google's own terms. Life acts on your behalf within the permissions you grant, and you can withdraw those permissions at any time from Settings or from your Google account.
Where you allow Life to change a calendar event or complete a task, those changes are written to your real Google account. Treat them as you would any edit made in Google Calendar itself.
The application is provided as it is, with no guarantee of uptime, and it may change, break, or be discontinued without notice. No promise is made that your data will be preserved. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Life is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of any figure it displays. To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the application, including lost data, lost time, or decisions made in reliance on it.
You may stop using the application at any time and ask for your account to be deleted. The operator may withdraw access to any account at any time, particularly where these terms are not being kept.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
These terms may change. When they do, this page is updated along with the date at the top of it.
