Life is a private, personal life-tracking application operated by Hanno Erwee. It is not a commercial product. Accounts exist only for the operator and a small number of invited people. This policy explains what the application stores and what it does with information obtained from Google when you choose to connect a Google account.

When an account is created, Life stores a username and a hashed password. It never stores a password in readable form. Beyond that, Life stores exactly what you type into it, which may include time and activity logs, plans and goals, financial transactions and account balances, meals, books, notes, and devotional or scripture entries.
This information is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database and is visible only to the account that created it. It is not shared with anyone, sold, used for advertising, or fed into any analytics or profiling service. Life runs no third-party trackers.
Connecting a Google account is entirely optional and the application works without it. If you do connect one, Life asks Google for these permissions:
calendar.calendarlist.readonly — to see the list of calendars in your account, so you can choose which ones to display.calendar.events — to read your calendar events so they can be shown alongside your own logged time, and to change an event's date or time when you move it inside Life.tasks — to read your Google Tasks so they can be shown on the day they are due, and to mark a task complete when you tick it off inside Life.userinfo.email — to display which Google account is connected, so you can tell them apart.Google calendar events and tasks are not copied into the Life database. They are fetched from Google each time you open the calendar and are displayed in your browser. Two narrow exceptions exist, and both are things you do deliberately:
Life's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information received from Google APIs is used only to provide the calendar and task features described above. It is never transferred to anyone else, never used for advertising, never sold, and never read by a human other than the account holder.
You can disconnect Google at any time from the Settings page. Disconnecting revokes the credential with Google and deletes it from the database, and Life immediately stops reading your calendar and tasks. You can also revoke access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Entries you already converted into your own tracked records stay in your account, since they are yours. Delete them individually, or email the address above to have the whole account and everything in it removed.
Life is hosted on Cloudflare Pages with a Cloudflare D1 database. All traffic is served over HTTPS. Access requires signing in, and every page other than this one, the Terms, and the sign-in screen is behind that check. Cloudflare and Google are the only third parties involved: Cloudflare because it hosts the application, Google because you asked Life to talk to it.

If what the application does with data changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated.
